Wrapping up the Semester

  1. I liked the atmosphere of the classroom. The discussions and speakers we had speak to us were always positive and informative.
  2. No time wasted. I really liked that we always had something to do and there was always something new to talk about. There were a couple of classes throughout the semester that we finished what we were talking about early, and you let us go early. I appreciate you not dragging class out when we completed what we needed to for the day.
  3. I liked all the speakers we had a chance to work with over skype, but I also think it would be good to have one speaker actually come into the class at some point over the semester.
  4. I thought that having a midterm was a good idea because there was so much content we learned from our readings, but I did not like the essay questions.
  5.  Good feedback. Throughout the semester with the work we were given, I always felt like the feedback I was given was very helpful.
  6.  It was always fun having you as a professor because it was very clear to me and others in the class that you really wanted to be there and help us. The different lectures you set up with videos, group work, and projects made the class time go by very fast.
  7. Some of the readings were a little bit confusing and hard to find the meaning of.  There were one or two readings during the semester that were long and worded funny, that made finding the meaning of the passage hard. Other than those two readings, I enjoyed the readings we were assigned.
  8. I really liked how you wrote each classes itinerary on the board before class started every day. Throughout the class I liked being able to see what we had completed and what we had left to do throughout the class.
  9. I cannot express enough how much I appreciate being able to choose our groups for the social media campaign project. In some of my other classes in the past, I have been assigned groups and it always makes things harder. The group I was able to choose made this group project easy to get done.
  10.  The mini presentation we did that one day in class had the potential to be good, but I feel like there was not enough preparation time so it did not go as well as planned. When I got in front of the class I did not feel like I had enough to say to be presenting in front of the whole class. The content we were assigned was not big enough to do a mini presentation on, in my opinion. But it is always good practice to get in front of the class and speak.

This class was great and I learned more than I ever thought I would. I recommended a bunch of my friends to take this course next semester!
