Hi my name is Sarah Byrne and I am a senior here at the Mount. I am majoring in Communications with a focus on Public Relations and I have hopes to pick up a minor in history as well. I am hoping to do something in the communications field when I graduate. This summer I interned in the communications department for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The communications department was divided off into four teams, I worked with the strategic communications team. I loved it! The team was basically the internal PR for the Chamber. I would be very interested in doing something like that when I graduate, but I am open to anything. I have a variety of interests that include cooking, baking, playing basketball and traveling. Trying new things is always something I find enjoyable and interesting. Some of the best things come from spur of the moment decision and choices.
